Meet Our Heartfelt African Angel
Discover our Heartfelt African Angel, a symbol of love and diversity that resonates across various cultures and religions. Individually hand-sewn by the talented Heartfelt crafters, she showcases intricate craftsmanship and reflects the rich heritage and culture of Africa.
She wears a simple grey felt dress, unadorned except for the visible running stitches made with embroidery thread. These stitches trace along the outer edges and up the centre, adding a subtle yet distinctive touch to her attire. Her cream wings are delicately edged with pearly beads, adding a touch of elegance. In her hands, she holds a little beaded heart, symbolising love and warmth. The felted halo, resembling a traditional head wrap or ‘doek’ as it is called in South Africa and Namibia, adds a touch of cultural elegance. Tiny feet peek out from under her dress, completing her charming appearance.
Invite cultural charm into your festive decor with this angel Christmas decoration. It’s the perfect ornament to adorn your Christmas tree or festive window display. It can also be used as a centrepiece in a festive wreath or garland, or even as a thoughtful gift for someone special. Celebrate diversity and bring warmth and joy to your holiday traditions with this special decoration.

HEARTFELT is a project founded by Martha and Julie to create jobs for women in Makapanstad through traditional handcraft skills. Each day, these women gather to chat and craft felt and beaded products, empowering themselves and benefiting the community. A portion of their sales supports local charities fighting TB, HIV/AIDS, and aiding children and the elderly. HEARTFELT aims to heal hearts and bring hope to those without daily opportunities, filling the hearts of many with love and hope.
