The Karoo Angels story began in 2006 in Vondeling, a remote village in the Karoo semi-desert of South Africa. Initially a small craft project for community upliftment, it provided training to local artisans, leading to the creation of unique, handcrafted angels from wire, beads, wool and ostrich feathers. The project expanded to include Rietbron, forming the Karoo Angels brand. These angels have gained international recognition, bringing pride and income to the once-forgotten villages.
