These beautiful hand-painted ceramic baubles are delicately decorated with butterflies and bugs. Each one is individually signed by an independent artist from The Hippo Studio. They make unique gifts all year around.

Hippo Studio, a small pottery nestled in Bulawayo’s industrial area in Zimbabwe, produces these vibrant and uniquely African-inspired ceramics. The studio has fourteen self-employed artists who have been trained to develop marketable skills and achieve economic independence. Their pride in their work allows them to contribute meaningfully to their community. Many have become sole breadwinners for their families and extended families.
