Scooby Rainbow Bowl – medium

Description

These bright and beautiful bowls, with their rich swirls of contrasting colours and designs are handwoven by Zulu crafters, combining traditional skills with modern materials.
Most bowls are woven from the bottom up whereas with wire weaving it is done from the top down.  These inventive weavers start with a thick wire at the top rim of the basket and then work their way down, pulling each wire taut against a form to create the shape of the bowl.
Perfect as an accent piece in home decor, ideal storage for various items like jewellery and keys or a thoughtful and unique gift that carries cultural significance and supports traditional crafts.

Materials: Galvanised wire rim, multi-coloured telephone wire (scooby wire). All the wire used is manufactured in South Africa.
