I grew up in South Africa and moved to the UK in 2007 with my late husband. Settling in took time, and on homesick days I’d flip through the South African interior magazines I’d brought with me. That’s when the idea for African Gift Collection was born — a way to reconnect with home and share the incredible handmade pieces crafted by Southern African artisans.

Over the years, I’ve met many of the makers whose work fills our collection. Each connection makes this journey deeply personal.
