Each bauble begins with carefully prepared clay, which is poured into moulds to create its shape. After drying, the surface is refined and hand‑painted by skilled artists. The baubles are then glazed and kiln‑fired to achieve a durable, beautifully finished piece.

Hippo Studio is a small pottery in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, creating vibrant, African‑inspired ceramics.
