Hand-Painted Klimt-Style Candles

These dinner candles and cone candles are hand-painted by skilled South African artisans using Kapula’s signature technique. Each candle is individually decorated by hand, meaning no two are exactly alike. Inspired by the golden art nouveau style of Gustav Klimt, the intricate patterns are carefully applied using specialist candle paints, with gold detailing added by hand to create a rich, luxurious finish.

Handcrafted in South Africa by Kapula Candles

Materials: Unscented paraffin wax, colour pigments, 100% cotton wick, individually wrapped

Care: Keep candles away from draughts, as this may cause uneven burning or excessive dripping. Never leave a burning candle unattended or near flammable materials. Candles have a long shelf life, but over time their colours may fade and the surface can become slightly sticky. To slow this natural ageing process, store candles in a cool, dark place inside an airtight container or wrapped in plastic.
