Karoo Angel Maria - Small

Each handcrafted angel is made using bleached or dyed ostrich feather tufts for smaller pieces, or full feathers for larger designs—sourced from Cape Karoo International, renowned for their finest quality ostrich plumes, with each feather carefully assembled and secured by hand. Intricate wirework, crocheted from ultra-fine 0.2 mm silver‑coated copper wire, shapes the wings, body or dress, with glass beads and sequins—often from Preciosa in the Czech Republic—worked directly onto the wire to complete the piece. The heads are hand-felted from Angora mohair or Merino wool sourced from Eastern Cape farmers.
