Karoo Angel Olaf - Small, 3D Wings

Olaf’s head is hand-felted from mohair, the fleece of Angora goats, sourced from Eastern Cape farmers. Ostrich feather tufts from Cape Karoo International are assembled and secured by hand to form the gown. Ultra-fine wire is crocheted into small, three-dimensional wings, with glass beads from the Czech Republic forming the halo.

Handcrafted in South Africa by Karoo Angels

Materials: Felted mohair, ostrich feathers, wire, glass beads, hanging loop

Care: Allow the feathers to fluff out naturally after unpacking. Dust may settle on the feathers while on display. Remove it gently, or, if further cleaning is necessary, hand-wash carefully with a mild detergent suitable for wool and silk. Fluff the feathers with a hairdryer on a low-temperature setting, keeping it well away from the feathers. Store in a closed box or the supplied packaging when not displayed.
